Metal Grade Battery Grade Lithium Carbonate
Battery grade lithium carbonate is a white crystalline powder that is odorless, tasteless, and has stable chemical properties. It has low solubility in water, but exhibits good solubility in organic solvents. In addition, battery grade lithium carbonate has high purity, high specific surface area, high shrinkage rate, high chemical stability, electrochemical stability, and thermal stability. These characteristics make battery grade lithium carbonate an ideal battery material, widely used in the manufacturing of lithium-ion batteries.

In the industrial field, lithium can be prepared into metallic lithium, a silver white metallic solid with a melting point of 180.5 ℃ and a boiling point of 1342 ℃. Its addition can improve the strength, corrosion resistance, and plasticity of the metal. It can also be used as a deoxidizer or dechlorination agent in the metallurgical industry, as well as in the manufacture of special bearing alloys.
