Preparation process
Mainstream methods:
Ball milling method: prepared by mechanochemical reaction, mature process but high energy consumption;
Carbon reduction method: Using lithium sulfate (Li ₂ SO ₄) and carbon as raw materials, high-temperature reduction is carried out to generate Li ₂ S, which is suitable for large-scale production;
Liquid phase method: synthesized using organic solvents, with low pollution and high efficiency, but the technology has not yet fully broken through.
Purity requirement:
The purity of battery grade Li ₂ S should be ≥ 99.99%, and the particle size should be controlled to the nanometer or micrometer level to meet the requirements of solid electrolytes
