Battery Grade Lithium Hydroxide:
LiOH·H2O, with a relative molecular mass of 41.96, presents as a white fine powder with fluidity and no visible impurities. It finds widespread application in electric vehicles, consumer electronics, energy storage systems, and as a crucial raw material for other high-purity lithium-containing compounds.
Properties:
It is a white crystalline powder with a melting point of 471℃ and a density of 1.51g/cm³. It is easy to absorb carbon dioxide and water in the air.
Usages:
Lithium hydroxide monohydrate is mainly used in the preparation of lithium grease and electrolyte additives for alkaline storage batteries. It is also used in petrochemical and glass ceramic industries. Lithium hydroxide monohydrate is used to produce electrolyte additives for nickel-hydrogen and nickel-cad- mium batteries, which can greatly increase battery capacity and prolong battery service life. it is also applied to lithium ion anode materials and used as important raw materials for producing other high-purity lithium-con- taining compounds.
