Preparation of positive electrode materials for lithium-ion batteries
High nickel ternary positive electrode material
Battery grade lithium hydroxide is the core lithium source for preparing ternary cathode materials such as nickel cobalt manganese oxide (NCM) and nickel cobalt aluminum oxide (NCA), especially suitable for high nickel systems (such as 8 series and 9 series ternary materials). Its low melting point (about 471 ℃) can optimize the sintering process, reduce lithium residue and cation mixing, and improve the discharge capacity and cycling stability of the battery.
Other positive electrode materials
In addition to high nickel ternary materials, it is also used in the preparation of lithium iron phosphate (LFP) and lithium polymer batteries to meet the needs of different battery technology routes.
